Smokescreen - Ken Matthews' quest for the truth
Smokescreen - one man's fight for justice

There are just a few unanswered questions .....

Who exactly was present at John Theodore Talbot Fletcher's death ?

What was the cause of death ? [see the Medical Records page]

Who applied for the Cremation ?

Who applied for the Death Certificate as Executor (but wasn't) ?

answer.... the carer ... why???

Why was John Fletcher's occupation given only as "Farming Operator (retired)" when he was well known in his later years to be a writer and publisher, having published two volumes of personal Memoirs as well as a massive book "Art Inspired by Rudolf Steiner" and a number of other titles ?

The Times notification of the death of John Theodore Talbot Fletcher The entry in The Times says that John Theodore Talbot Fletcher died at Copped Hall but the Death Certificate says he died at 17 Theydon Place, Epping.

Why the disparity in addresses?

Why was there apparently no notification in the London Gazette?

Why did the cremation happen so swiftly [only three days after the death] and at a crematorium in another county, when the usual time for a cremation is 10-14 days and the local crematorium (Harlow) is much nearer?
